Today we visited Tengeru Boys School. Tengeru is the school that the Ghost Around the World Club has sent over 10,000 books, microscopes, computers, and sport equipment to. We consider Tengeru our cousin school because like Holy Ghost Prep, it is run by the Spiritans. While at Tengeru we got a tour of the school led by Fr. John Assey. Later on we got to meet students and shadow them. I shadowed a kid named Frederick Aloyce. All of us thought that the way the kids acted in class and the environment of the school was similar to Holy Ghost Prep. At the end of the day, the students put on a performance for us. Here are some photos from our day at Tengeru:
The library, which is being used as a classroom.
Books.
The group in the library.
The new dormitory building that is currently under construction.
